Element LABS Represents Ohio Small Businesses in Washington, D.C.

Element LABS was proud to be one of seven small businesses selected to represent Ohio at a national gathering in Washington, D.C., hosted by Meta. The event brought together more than 100 entrepreneurs and business leaders from across all 50 states to explore how digital tools and AI are transforming small businesses and local economies.

During the visit, Element LABS participated in educational sessions on AI, digital marketing, and immersive technologies like the Meta Oculus and Meta Ray-Bans, gaining insight into how innovation can further support small business growth. The event also provided exceptional networking opportunities, with meaningful connections made across state lines.

A major highlight of the trip included meetings with members of Congress. Element LABS had a one-on-one meeting with a staff member from Representative Bob Latta’s office, where the focus was on the real-world impact digital tools have on daily operations and long-term business growth. The company also participated in a group meeting with Senator Bernie Moreno’s office, where Ohio-based entrepreneurs shared questions, ideas, and feedback directly with legislative staff.

Ahead of the trip, Element LABS met with local organizations to gather insight on current small business challenges and priorities. Those perspectives were woven into the discussions in Washington, with a strong emphasis on the role of support systems like SBDC (Small Business Development Center), WBC (Women’s Business Center), and ECDI (Economic and Community Development Institute). These organizations have played a significant role in the growth of Element LABS through access to capital, mentorship, and education.

This trip was made possible through the coordination of Anthony Spaetzel of Capital Partners, whose connection to Avon Lake’s Mayor Mark Spaetzel made the experience even more meaningful.

Element LABS, a WBE (Women Business Enterprise) Certified company, is proud to advocate for women-owned and small businesses and to be part of a national conversation about the future of entrepreneurship.
